All hail the ale at Weymouth Sailing Club beer festival

Roll up, roll up! Help a great cause and join Jurassic Creative at Weymouth Sailing Club  beer festival this weekend.

Jurassic Creative recently sponsored Dorchester Beerex, which helped raise £11,000 for Dorset good causes. Following on from this, (and as we like to try and give back to our community,) we decided to help sponsor the Weymouth Sailing Club beer festival this weekend. The event will be held at the club on Weymouth Harbourside on Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11. There will be a selection of Dorset ales and ciders and the Six Nations Rugby will be shown on two screens. (Here’s the run down: on Friday at 8pm Wales play Ireland. On Saturday at 1:30pm Italy play France and then at 4pm England take on Scotland.)

The beer festival will raise money for Portland charity, Chesil Sailability. The group provides support for disabled sailors and was inspired by the 2012 London Paralympic Games. The group is based at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy on Portland.

Tickets are just £5 each and this includes two half pint tokens. We have sponsored a barrel and will be at the event. Here are some of the Dorset breweries involved: Piddle, Gyle 59, Weymouth Cider Company, Cerne Abbas Brewery, Ringwood Brewery and Small Paul’s Brewery. So, If you like beers and like to help excellent causes, click here to get your tickets.

We’ll see you there – Cheers!
